All flags in Watauga County will be at half-staff on Friday July 26, to honor and remember Deputy William Mast Jr.
All business and residents are ask at 10am to observe a moment of silence.
That date marks the year to the day that Deputy Mast was killed. On Tuesday July 16 Watauga County Commissioners approved a resolution asking that all flags in Watauga County fly at half-staff on July 26.
