Update on App State football parking and tailgating for September

Last Updated on September 9, 2020 4:32 pm

On Sept. 1, App State announced that its fall sport seasons would begin without fans at home events through the end of September, in accordance with North Carolina's current Safer at Home Phase 2.5 executive order.

For our two September home football games (Sept. 12 vs. Charlotte and Sept. 26 vs. Campbell), tailgating will not be permitted on the App State campus.

Campus parking lots operated by App State and used by Yosef Club donors and fans on game day will not be operated in typical game day fashion. Parking lots accessed via Stadium Drive will be reserved for football game participants and essential staff.

We hope Mountaineer fans will come to the High Country to watch the game on TVs (ESPN2) at any of the following partner establishments of App State Athletics, while following the latest public health guidelines.

–       10 High Country Lanes

–       Makoto’s

–       Mellow Mushroom (Boone & Blowing Rock locations)

–       Rivers Street Ale House

–       TApp Room

–       Town Tavern Blowing Rock

We will really miss App Nation at our game days in September and look forward to when we can gather together again.
