Watauga County Schools closed for students Wednesday. Closed for everyone Thursday & Friday.
Appalachian State closed for students Wednesday. Closed for everyone Thursday & Friday.
Town of Boone offices closed Thursday & Friday.
Watauga County offices closed Thursday & Friday.
Watauga County Sanitation Department – container sites, landfill & office closed Thanksgiving, all reopen Friday.
North Carolina government offices & NCDMV closed Thursday & Friday.
United States Postal Service delivery will not operate on Thanksgiving Day, they will resume on Friday.
Banks are closed on all federal holidays.
