…INCREASED FIRE DANGER FROM NOON THROUGH 8PM…
The combination of dry fuels, gusty wind, and a dry air mass will
lead to increased fire danger today across soutwest Virginia and
northwest North Carolina. The humidity will drop as low as 25
percent while wind gusts will be west to southwest at 15 to 30 mph.
Refer to your local burn-permitting authority on whether
or when you may burn. Use extreme caution with any potential
ignition sources.
