THROUGH 230 PM EST…

At 155 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles west of Beech Mountain to 5 miles east
of Marshall. Movement was east at 60 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Spruce Pine, Burnsville, Marshall, Newland, Mars Hill, Blowing Rock
In Caldwell County, Banner Elk, Elk Park, Bakersville, and Beech
Mountain In Avery County.
