…ACCUMULATING SNOW LIKELY AT HIGH ELEVATIONS AND ALONG THE
TENNESSEE BORDER…

In the wake of a robust cold front, colder air will move into the
region this evening and early Thursday. The colder air coupled with
fairly moist low-level flow will likely produce snow showers over
the higher peaks and ridges and especially along the Tennessee border
region. Accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible through Thursday
with additional snowfall possible Friday morning. Motorists traveling
in these areas should use extra caution.
