5:03pm – The road is back open
Update 4:19pm – per scanner Castle Ford Road still closed for roughly another 30-45mins.
4:24pm – According to published reports officials worked for more than an hour to free the person that was inside the truck.
3:08pm – According to Watauga County Communications office part of Castle Ford Road is closed due to an accident.
Officer Garrett Norris on scene Castle Ford Rd advised best detour is Roby Greene RD or stay on 194 N.
