Water Service Interruption: On Monday, February 12th beginning at 9:00am, water service will be interrupted beginning at 1041 Winklers Creek Road and moving up toward the Rocky Creek Road area. The interruption is due to relocating a water main. Service is expected to be interrupted for 4-6 hours. For more information, please contact Public Utilities at (828) 268-6250.
Queen Street Road Closure: A portion of Queen Street, beginning at the intersection of Queen Street and N. Water Street, and ending at approximately 247 Queen Street (Queen Street Apartments), will be closed beginning Monday, February 12th and ending on Thursday, February 15th. The closure will begin at 7:00am and end at 5:00pm daily. The reason for the road closure is to help provide safety for both construction crews and motorists/pedestrians at the site of the future Queen Street Parking Deck.
