This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina and
southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a Significant risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon
and evening. The primary threat is damaging wind. The strongest
thunderstorms may also produce large hail and tornadoes.

Be prepared for hazardous travel due to torrential rain, downed
trees, and blocked or flooded roads. Power outages are likely. Have
multiple ways to get severe thunderstorm or tornado warnings.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.
