This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE…This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms will develop Friday afternoon and evening. A few of
these storms could become strong to severe, producing damaging wind
gusts and hail. A low threat of tornadoes will exist, mainly for
southside Virginia and the North Carolina Piedmont.
