This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,
central Virginia, south central Virginia, southwest Virginia, west
central Virginia and southeast West Virginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
South winds could gust 30 to 45 mph today and tonight, especially
along the ridges.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday.
Wintry weather is possible Saturday night into late Sunday. Plowable
snow is possible, especially across the higher elevations. A mix of
sleet is also possible.
