This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening and
may contain heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday.

There is a slight risk for excessive rainfall from showers and
thunderstorms Friday. Rainfall amounts and rates are expected to be
moderate to high. Some storms could also have damaging winds.
