This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, south central Virginia and southwest
Virginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.
There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall
Monday afternoon and evening. Damaging wind gusts, large hail, heavy
rainfall leading to localized flooding, and frequent cloud-to-ground
lightning will be the main hazards associated with any thunderstorms.
For the remainder of the period, the probability of widespread
hazardous weather is low.
