This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,
southwest Virginia and southeast West Virginia.

.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.

Strong wind gusts to 45 mph from the northwest are likely late
Sunday night into Monday, which may result in a few downed trees and
power lines. A strong cold front will bring snow showers for Monday
into early Tuesday. One to three inches of snowfall accumulation is
increasingly likely by dawn Tuesday along the higher ridges from
southeast West Virginia to northwest North Carolina, which may
result in difficult travel conditions. Less than an inch of
accumulation is likely elsewhere west of the Blue Ridge.
