This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
There is a marginal risk of severe storms this afternoon and evening,
mainly along and west of the Blue Ridge. There is a slight risk for
severe storms north of Interstate 64 where storms are expected to
have better organization. Damaging wind and heavy rain are the main
threats.

There is a marginal risk of severe storms Sunday afternoon.
