northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

Thunderstorms today will be capable of producing torrential rains
which could lead to localized flooding. Also, an isolated severe
storm is possible with damaging winds the main threat.
