This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,
southwest Virginia and southeast West Virginia.

.DAY ONE…This afternoon and tonight.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday.

Breezy conditions ahead of a cold front are expected Saturday with
gusts up to 30 MPH, especially along ridge tops. Following the
front, lingering moisture and rapidly dropping temperatures will
result in a change over to snowfall later Sunday into Monday.
Amounts are still uncertain, but current accumulation is projected
to be generally 1 to 2 inches, with higher amounts possible at
higher elevations.
