This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, south central Virginia and southwest
Virginia.

.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.

There is a marginal risk for strong to severe thunderstorms Friday
afternoon and evening. The greatest threat from these storms
will be strong damaging wind gusts. Localized heavy rainfall could
lead to flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday.

There is a marginal risk for strong to severe thunderstorms Saturday
afternoon and evening. The greatest threat associated with these
storms will be strong winds.
