There will be no white Christmas for the High Country this year, however still plenty of moisture in the area before Santa makes his rounds later in the week. In a Monday briefing the National Weather Service says that 1 to 3 inches is possible Tuesday night into Wednesday night. The Weather Services adds that minor flooding may be possible during that time frame.
As of Monday afternoon there is at least a 60% chance of rain through Thursday in the forecast, and at least a 30% Christmas Day through Monday.
