12:33pm – Boone Mall parking lot 321 entrance is being closed due to high water.
1:17pm – Boone Heights Drive closed at Hidden Shadows Drive due to flooding.
1:25pm – Stopped up culvert causing issues on Jefferson Road at 194. Use caution in that area.
5:47pm – Roads at Moose Lodge and near Boone Airport are flooded still. Detour around those areas.
Wednesday May 3
5:46pm – Expect delays on 321 in Cove Creek at the Watauga River Bridge due to overturned dump truck.
6:46pm – Accident on 194 at Clint Norris Road. Expect delays in the area.

Overnight reports that the bridge on Roby Greene Road was awash and water had risen on Bamboo Road near the airport.
