Monday March 20
Flagging/lane closures today on 321 in Blowing Rock from Greenhill Rd to Rocky Knob Rd. EXPECT DELAYS!
10:11am – Accident on 421 near Stoney Fork Road. Expect delays, possibly major delays, in that area.
10:25am – 421 is closed southbound starting at 221 intersection due to wreck near Stoney Fork Road.
1pm – Detours are still set up on 421 near Stoney Fork Road due to earlier fatal accident. Officials are attempting to set up one lane of travel in both directions.
2:45pm – 421 is back open to all traffic. Crews still working at the accident site so use caution in the area.

11:22am – Law enforcement are investigating a bomb threat called into the courthouse per scanner traffic. The courthouse has been evacuated. It's suggested you avoid that area for sometime.
11:57am – Police have cleared the courthouse scene. It'll reopen to the public shortly according to scanner traffic.

Friday March 24
5:09pm – Accident in the area of 421 and old 421 near Food Lion in Deep Gap. Expect delays.
5:20pm – Intersection of 421 at Old 421 at Food Lion northbound lane is shut down for an undetermined amount of time due to accident in the area. Make other travel arrangements if possible.
6:54pm – Intersection of 421 at Old 421 at Food Lion is back open.
