Avery County Schools is proud to announce Mrs. Kim Wiseman as the 2025 Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Wiseman was honored during a special Teacher of the Year Breakfast, where each school’s individual Teacher of the Year was celebrated. The event concluded with the exciting announcement of Mrs. Wiseman as the district-wide winner.
Mrs. Wiseman is known for her unwavering dedication to her students, her innovative teaching methods, and the deep care she brings into her classroom every day. Her passion for education and commitment to student growth make her a shining example of excellence in teaching.
Avery County is blessed with so many outstanding educators, and we are grateful for each one of them. Their hard work and heart for students create lasting impacts far beyond the classroom.
