The National Weather Service office in Blacksburg, Virginia has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for north central North Carolina, northwest North Carolina, south central Virginia, southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West Virginia, including Watauga, Ashe, Alleghany and Wilkes counties.
Day One — Today and Tonight
There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.
Days Two Through Seven — Thursday Through Tuesday
There is a chance of severe thunderstorms Thursday for areas north of US 460, and a chance of severe thunderstorms Friday for the whole region.
