Hardin Park School and Watauga High School briefly entered an SECURE action on Thursday, May 14, according to Watauga County Schools.
Officials said the action was taken out of an abundance of caution in response to a community concern. Both schools were held in SECURE for no longer than 10 minutes before returning to normal operating procedures.
