8:43am – Big light intersection/main intersection in Boone, 321, 105 areas are now clear. Deerfield Road from Statefarm Road to Blairmont closed.
8:31am – Deerfield Road from Statefarm Road to Blairmont is going to be closed due to high water.

8:16am – Dogwood Road at highway 105 is shut down.
8:05am – Portions of #BooneNC starting to see a break from the heavy rain. A Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Poor Drainage Areas is in effect until 1:45pm.
7:34am – ALERT – Blowing Rock Road from Rivers Street to Wendys is going to be shut down according to scanner dispatches. Also Faculty Street behind the Holmes Center.
7:07am Friday May 18 – A water main has busted in the area of Hardee's/Holmes Center, according to scanner dispatches. Expect lot of water and possible delays in the area.
