1:30pm – No reported accidents or travel issues via police scanner. Per social media reports conditions on 105 toward the Avery County line are snow covered and slick.
2:15pm – Accident on Watauga River Road in Valle Crucis due to slick conditions.
3:15pm – no reported problems on main roads in Watauga County per scanner and incoming social media reports. Some scattered slick areas on secondary roads are possible.
4:20pm – roads around Boone and some main roads in the county are getting snow covered at this hour.
