The Watauga County Sheriff's Office, Boone Fire Department, and Watauga Medics responded to a tragic ATV accident earlier today at 318 North Woods Drive in Boone, according to a Watauga County Sheriff's Office report. The accident claimed the life of the individual operating the ATV.
“Our hearts are heavy with sorrow for the loss experienced by the family and loved ones of the victim.”, according to a statement from the Watauga County Sheriff's Office.
The investigation is ongoing and the name of the victim is not being released pending notifications.
