Single digit temperatures and wind chills below zero are in the forecast to usher in another round of winter weather. According to the National Weather Service, wind gusts as high as 60 mph will be possible in some locations. A Wind Advisory is in effect from noon until 11pm on Thursday.
Wind chill readings down to -25 degrees are possible in the High Country, and even colder along the higher ridges and peaks. Those sustained wind chill readings are forecast to last through the weekend and into early next week. For wind chill references visit NWS Windchill Chart page.
