Crimestoppers Seeks Help In Mailbox Explosion

High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Sunday February 10th, a residential mailbox on Dogwood Road in Boone was destroyed as the result of a small explosion. The explosive used was likely a firework or other similar small explosive device. There are no reports of injury connected with this vandalism.

Anyone with information on this crime or any other crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 828-268-6959 / 828-737-0125 or the Boone Police Department at 828-268-6900. All information will be kept confidential.
