High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:
On October 14, 2015, at approximately 3:15 PM, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Speedway convenience store located at 2702 Highway 105 S in Boone. The vehicle fled the scene traveling southbound on Highway 105. The suspect vehicle is an older model maroon Jeep Liberty displaying an unknown NC vehicle registration plate. The vehicle has plastic trim around the wheel wells and a spare tire mounted on the rear door. The driver was a white female with long dark hair. The passenger was a white male with dark hair and a beard.
