Last Updated on August 4, 2016 10:20 am

The Boone Bicycle Collective, as an active supporter of the Town of Boone Sustainability, Economics and Environment Committee, is excited to announce that they currently have used bicycles of all sizes available for donation at their mobile facility.   The Boone Community Bicycle Collective is a community based non-profit organization whose purpose is to serve the public in providing a bike rental and repair service as well as to provide advocacy for safe riding practices in addition to general bicycling atmosphere.  The organization currently operates as a “tool-share”, with tools available for use at their mobile trailer to maintain and repair your bike.  In addition to the bicycles and the usage of tools, the Boone Bicycle Collective has used helmets, wheels and parts to give away on a first come, first served basis.

The Boone Bicycle Collective is located behind The Jones House Community & Cultural Center at 604 West King Street in Boone and is open on Mondays from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.  For more information, please contact Ben Scarboro by email at constablemoore@gmail.com or visit The Boone Bicycle Collective Facebook page at facebook.com/boonecommunitybikecollective.
