Flagging/lane closure operations are scheduled today in Blowing Rock on 321 & on US 321 Business south near Blowing Rock Furniture Galleries. Stay alert to vehicles entering/exiting 321 and side roads as well as private and business driveways from Norwood Circle to Food Lion Shopping Center as ALL TRAFFIC remains in a temporary pattern on the future northbound lanes through this section of the project.
Tuesday Aug 18
At 9am Sheriff's deputies and NCSHP will close 421 S at Landfill Rd to move a house across the road. This will be a big traffic impact.
Weather permitting, flagging scheduled today on 321 & US 321 Bus in Blowing Rock at Blowing Rock Furniture Galleries.
3:48pm – Structure fire on Stanberry Road. Be advised of fire departments and EMS units in that area.

321 UPDATE 10:00 AM : Possible flagging on 321 from south of Green Park Inn to Elk Ridge Ln. Call 828-964-3260.
3:17pm – Fire departments in the area of Clint Lewis Road and Howard's Creek Road due to structure fire. Use caution in that area.
4:28pm – Accident no injuries US Hwy 421 N at Dollar General. Southbound Lane partially blocked.
4:35pm – Accident Blowing Rock at intersection Foxwood Ln and Main St.
Thursday Aug 20
Weather permitting, flagging scheduled today in Blowing Rock on US321 & US 321 Bus south & on Ransom St.
Hodges Gap Rd closed between Oak Grove Road and George Wilson until noon.
12:18pm – Hodges Gap Road is back open.
