3:56pm – There are several power outages across the High Country in the BREMCO service area. The following is the list of BREMCO members without power

Wilkes 247
4:23pm – Ashe 2
Alleghany – 1
4:40pm – All power back on. Outages were due to trees blowing into the power lines per BREMCO.
Blue Ridge Electric members should report outages by calling the cooperative's PowerLine at 1-800-448-2383. To view a live outage map, visit www.BlueRidgeEMC.com and click on the “outage map” link located on the bottom left hand side of the screen.
As a safety reminder, downed power lines can still be energized and therefore dangerous or even deadly! The cooperative reminds members to stay far away from downed power lines and to report them immediately to Blue Ridge Electric.
