High Country motorist may notice just a little less traffic around Boone this week as Appalachian State is on Spring Break. Classes resume on Monday March 14. Watauga County Schools are currently scheduled for Spring Break from Monday March 28 – Friday April 1, barring any more days missed for winter weather.
In acknowledging the break, the university facebook page had a little fun while reminding students that though it is Spring break winter is far from over.
