UPDATE – The suspect sought by Appalachian State University Police has been taken into custody. Thirty-eight year old Mickael G. Murphy, no known address, was arrested in Johnson County, Tennessee, earlier today. Murphy is not affiliated with Appalachian State University.
App State Police are requesting assistance from the public in locating Mickael G. Murphy, 38 years of age.
Murphy has outstanding arrest warrants for Sexual Battery and Attempted Assault on a Female, according to a post on the App State Police twitter feed. Anyone with information should call (828) 262-2150 or 911.
