Town of Boone offices are closed Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, Dec 24, 25 & 26 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019
Town of Boone holiday trash & recycling pick up schedule – There will be no trash or recycling pick-up on Tuesday, December 25. The Tuesday residential trash route will be picked up on Wednesday, December 26. All customers that are normally serviced on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday will be picked up on their normal day. Services will operate on a regular schedule on New Year's Day. Watauga County offices, including License Plate Agency and Courthouse, are closed Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, Dec 24, 25 & 26 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019
Watauga County Sanitation Department, including container sites, will be closed December 24th and 25th. Open on Wednesday, December 26th. Closed on Tuesday, January 1, 2019
North Carolina Judicial Branch offices and courts are closed Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, Dec 24, 25, 26 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019

United States Postal Service is closed Tuesday, December 25, 2018 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019
Federal offices are closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Tuesday, January 1, 2019
