The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from Sunday at noon until Monday at noon. Snow accumulations of 2 inches with isolated 3 to 4 inches along the higher peaks are possible, according to the advisory.
Motorists should expect snow covered roads leading to slick conditions. Blowing snow could also be a travel issue with wind gusts up to 35 mph possible. High temperatures are forecast to be in the lower 30s on Sunday and upper 20s on Monday with single digit wind chills.
