…WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 10 AM EDT
SUNDAY…

WHAT…Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
expected especially across the higher mountain ridges.

WHERE…In Virginia, Tazewell, Smyth and Grayson Counties. In
North Carolina, Ashe and Watauga Counties. In West Virginia,
Mercer, Summers and Western Greenbrier Counties.

WHEN…From 10 AM this morning to 10 AM EDT Sunday. The winds
may be the strongest tonight into Sunday morning.

IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
