  • WHAT…Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
    expected.
  • WHERE…Portions of southwest and west central Virginia and
    north central and northwest North Carolina.
  • WHEN…Until 11 PM EDT this evening.
  • IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
    Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
    result.
  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Leaves still on many trees will allow for
    trees to be more easily blown down.
