The Watauga High baseball team and Watauga High School Pioneer Booster Club have announced that hats to honor two fallen Watauga County Sheriff's Deputies are now for sale.

The Watauga baseball hats are embroidered with Sgt. Ward & Deputy Fox’s badge numbers and will be for sale at the concession stand and ticket booth during home baseball games. The hats are $20 each, all of the sales go to the families of the officers. The hats can also be ordered on the web at this link.

The hats were going to be available starting tonight (Tuesday night May 4th) but due to rain Watauga's home game has been moved to Wednesday (May 5th).

Watauga Baseball's first annual Law Enforcement Night, which was also to take place tonight, will also move to Wednesday night.

WHS School Resource Officer (SRO) Seth Morrison will throw out the first pitch before the 6:30 varsity game.

Watauga Baseball would like to extend an open invitation to all Law Enforcement Officers to join the team on the first baseline as Officer Morrison throws out the first pitch, and also for the National Anthem. Law Enforcement Officers will not be charged for admittance.
