The Watauga County Sanitation Department recently adopted a new holiday schedule for the 2018-19 year.
Each convenience site, the transfer station and office will now be closed during the holidays but open the following day, according to a flyer that WataugaOnline.com obtained from one of the local sites on Monday.
The flyer also reminds local residents that there are still four Household Hazardous Waste Collection days left in 2018 and resumes again in 2019. Below the flyer are the normal operating hours for each convenience site and transfer station.
