Fire crews with Zionville Fire and Cove Creek Fire responded to a reported structure fire at a home along Highway 421 on Sunday afternoon.
Chief Don Miller tells WataugaOnline.com that upon arrival, at 12300 421 north, it was discovered to be a chimney fire. The fire was contained to the chimney with no other property damage, Miller added.
Watauga Medics and Watauga Rescue were also dispatched to the scene. All units cleared the scene at 5:07 pm.
