Scattered slick spots have lead to some travel issues in the High Country this morning. Watauga County Schools decided to operate on a 2 hour delay due to the conditions. The Watauga Roads and Weather social media outlets have received reports of some slick spots across the county.
On a brighter note, the National Weather Service has cancelled the High Wind Warning that was to stay in effect until 12noon.
