Some Watauga County residents were without power for a time early Monday morning. Blue Ridge Energy says an affected part of the system in the Phillips Branch area sent linemen to respond at 3 am. Most of the 75 affected members were restored with power by 5:17 am, although final repair work took until this afternoon when the 16 members were restored with power.
