Construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock with no impacts to traffic. No flagging/lane closures are currently scheduled today; however, motorists are encouraged to slow down when traveling through the project and to remain alert to construction crews and equipment working alongside the roadway and entering/exiting the roadway at various locations throughout the project.
REMINDER – King Street will be closed from 4pm-6pm for Downtown BOO. Use an alternate route and expect delays in the area.
Tuesday November 1
10:18am – Traffic accident on 321 in Blowing Rock south of Green Park Inn causing major delays.
10:33am – Traffic accident south of Cone Orchard Ln south of Blowing Rock continues to cause significant impacts to both northbound and southbound traffic. Emergency crews are on the scene. At this time, continued delays of at least 1-2 hrs are anticipated before open travel lanes are restored, according to NCDOT.
11:23am – Traffic accident on 321 in Blowing Rock south of GreenParkInn cleared, slow moving traffic causing delays!
Wednesday Nov 2
Major construction delays reported at 421/221 intersection.
1:07pm – Expect delays on 105 near the Shulls Mill entrances due to accident.
Thursday Nov 3
Construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock with flagging/lane closures currently scheduled from Rock Rd to Norwood Circle for paving. MOTORIST SHOULD EXPECT SIGNIFICANT DELAYS!
5:05pm – Wreck on 105 bypass near AppalCart. Expect delays in that area.
Friday Nov 4
No travel impacts scheduled today on 321 in Blowing Rock.
