This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONEā€¦This afternoon and tonight.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected again today and
tonight. Locally heavy rainfall and localized flooding will once
again be the main concern. However, an isolated strong to severe
thunderstorm will also be possible this afternoon and early evening.
The main concern with any severe thunderstorms would be damaging
wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVENā€¦Friday through Wednesday.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected each
day through the first half of next week. Locally heavy and repeated
rainfall in the same areas will result in a continued threat for
flooding. An isolated strong to severe with damaging wind gusts is
possible, but the main concern remains that of heavy rainfall and
associated flooding.
