No flagging operations are scheduled today on 321 but flagging ops are possible on/at Church St to assist paving operations in this area. Motorists should slow down and remain alert to construction crews and equipment working in this area.
Tuesday November 17
No flagging operations are currently scheduled today on 321 in Blowing Rock.
Wednesday November 18
5:15pm – Three car accident at the intersection of 105 and Shull's Mill Road, expect possible delays in that area.
5:32pm – Several minor accidents in Boone. Motorist advised to slow down due to fog and rain.
6:03pm – still long delays on highway 105 due to the wreck in Foscoe. Fire crews are still on the scene.
6:03pm – Tree down on highway 421 at Zionville Post Office. Blocking both lanes.
6:16pm – Expect more delays on 105, now a 2nd accident near the 3 lane in between the two Shull's Mill entrances.
6:22pm – Foscoe Fire Department has cleared the scene of both accidents on highway 105.
6:32pm – per scanner traffic is flowing on 421 in Zionville again, after tree down
Thursday November 19
6:10am – Many of the usual flood prone roads were covered overnight. Be advised of the possibility that some areas could still be in standing water. There were no incoming reports via social media of exact locations impacted so far this morning.
1:22pm – Expect traffic backups in the area of the big light in Boone, two left turn lanes are blocked due to disabled vehicle. Police are on the scene.
3:08pm – Expect delays on the 105 bypass, near the entrance to Caldwell Community College, due to an accident. Fire and EMS are on the scene.

12:42pm – Expect possible delays on 105.3 car accident on Rock Crusher Hill.
12:50pm – Accident w/injuries Meadowview Dr/Blowing Rock Road near Scotchman, Emergency Personnel on scene.
1:20pm – Accident NC Hwy 105 S at Bairds Creek Rd. 2 cars, Bairds Creek partially blocked.
3:51pm – Expect delays on 105 heading toward Avery County due to a wreck at Tynecastle, and delays on 194/Meat Camp Road due to a wreck.
4:16pm – Expect delays in the area of Boone Mountain/421 at Dollar General in Vilas due to a two car wreck.
