Local school systems will return to the classrooms this week to continue the 2018-19 calendar year, while Appalachian State will resume several days later.
Watauga County, Two Rivers School (Watauga County), Avery County and Ashe County Schools returns back to class on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute will return to a regular schedule on Wednesday, January 2. Final Registration for the Spring Semester will be January 3 with Spring Semester classes beginning on January 7.
