Possible flagging on 321 in Blowing Rock south of Rocky Knob Rd.
Wednesday July 6
With all travel lanes open in AREA I, limited construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock from Tanger Outlets to Blowing Rock Furniture Galleries; however, these operations will not impact traffic. Other construction activities that may impact travel are also scheduled today and include retaining wall construction between Green Park Inn and Canyons Restaurant, retaining wall construction between Green Park Inn and Blackberry Condos, and storm drainage structure installation south of Rocky Knob Rd.

REMINDER – Allow PLENTY of extra travel time on 105 in Watauga and Avery County today due to the Highland Games opening ceremonies and the running of The Bear.
Friday July 8
With all travel lanes open in AREA I, limited construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock, from Tanger Outlets to Blowing Rock Furniture Galleries; however, these operations will not impact traffic. No other construction operations resulting in significant impacts to travel are currently scheduled today. Weather permitting, normal construction operations including flagging, alternating traffic shifts, lane closures, etc. are set to resume throughout the project on Monday, July 11, 2016
