The Land of Oz on Beech Mountain entertained a special guest recently.
Dee Snider, most famously known as the lead singer and songwriter of the heavy metal band Twisted Sister, and his family visited the site via a private tour on Saturday, September 7th.
The Land of Oz social media outlets stated, “It’s not every day a rockstar like Dee Snider visits the Land of Oz! We had the honor of giving him and his family a private tour, and of course we had to get him to autograph our Twisted Sisters posters!!”
Snider posted via Instagram , “Yesterday my family and I followed the yellow brick road with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, Tinman and the Cowardly Lion! Absolutely surreal! @LandofOzNC is a must for any fan of the movie and/or book! landofoznc.com”
